national day celebrations

happy 44th birthday Singapore!!!!! we celebrated national day on fri. it was not bad la i guess. we did a cloth montage and hamper wrapping.hamper wrapping is really not easy man. we like change the structure so many times before we decided on the final one. the montage was really nice. great job guys. there was also sing along session i love national day songs man can show my patriotism to the country i think music really connects people and performances by the ICS and dance n MCS. the dancers rock man they were really hot. when they performed everybody stopped work and watch their performance. there was also the don't forget the lyrics and mrs tan actuaaly went up n stage. she got saboed and dragged olivia up with her. After that we had class lunch at Aston in Suntec. i think i really am getting sick of Aston but it's really worth it and good la so i dun really mind

updates

yoyoyo peeps so sorry for the lack of post. but nvm my life also quite boring so i hope i dun bore u out with the details.last sat, we went to B&J at the Cathay to support Keith. very talented musician. sings and plays the guitar well. had merlionster shiok. gulps. i feel sinful. it's call indulgence. so after we went to walk around PS to get present for gen our beloved pres guess wat we got her. a pacifier from mothercare so u could imagine a bunch of teenagers in mothercare making loads of noice trying to decide on a suitable present. we saw a shirt that says i got my good looks from mummy and i got my charm from daddy. baby stuff r so cute. so small.

Thurs was sy's birthday. so mon after PE, kit and i went to PS to get her present. it was everything food related. the fake bread smells so good. haha lolx we ordered pizza too. SY didn't know she thought that we were going to film some video so she was truly surprised. cheers man ppl. haha lolx after PE SY shared her chocolates with us. haha lolx another indulgence. choclate is something that i would never say no to.

This sat, went to botanic gardens for guitar outing/gathering. i went late cos i had piano so sorry. but the place was very nice quite long since i been there. we were like bored so we played cards and once again i was fascinated by tap tap it's fun. cos can listen to song too. the songs won't screw up no matter how lousy a player u r. that's the good thing bout it. there was like freaking a lot of ants at the place la. they r amazing any food that we dropped they would come and pick it up soon and they actually managed to move a beehoon, potato chip, and seaweed. There was really a lot of them. after that we went to take a walk round the place. the greenery is quite nice while finding the toilet. we saw this mini waterfall. quite cool. after that we went to the library to study quite a nice place beside the few random noisy people. there was an exhibition on evolution quite informative and learnt quite a lot of knowledge from there.

yay exams are over!!!!! whoo hooooo

haha lolx my title says it all. but it's onli 6 more weeks to prelim peeps so jiayoujiayou onli a few more months. fighting. hmmm i dunno how i'll do but i guess for now i'll jus relax 1st la. until i get back my results then it's a totally different story. i pray and hope that i'll get 35 rank points and above. chem pls save me. i did study during my hols la but i think i was quite unproductive la but i hope my hard work put in will reap some reward.

2day went 4 chilloutsession with my clique. went to watch transformers and ate aston's. nice. go watch it. it's noisy la but at least it quite exciting. Grand Cathay roxs man. the sound was totally surround sound la very real. shiok. then the chair n the screen also shiok.

went to watch the ndp parade rehearsal with my cousins and friends. it was not bad la the songs were quite cool. the chose songs that we identified with. but i still find the performance quite boring as usual. but the parade and the navy or army display was very nice and of course not forgetting the fireworks so beautiful lighting up the night sky. witht the singapore flyer in the background. but i find it a bit unglam leh cos all the construction for the IR is llike at the back so unsightly. but i love the bag cos it's orange. yay. ok i off to watch my boys over flowers. everybody must watch. they're so cute and hot. lee min ho FTW ahhhh and the girl is quite pretty

holidays r here wheeeeee whooo hoooooo

a well deserved break i hope... hmmm i guess it could only be counted as a study break and nothing else. i hope i will make use of this time fullly to be prepared. i think there's going to be more after the hols. so i just hope for the best. jiayou jiayou.fighting. we can do it people. i guess it has been quite eventful the past few month with a few disappointment. thanks so much to the people who were there with me throughout. u guys were great. my heart felt gratitude. PW and the SYF oso. i guess i really understood the hard work and effort that u have to put in to excel in the thing that u do. i guess that the effort the sweat and the tears will go unnoticed by others only u yourself understand. the time on stage is really short so as a performer cherish the time u have on stage. i guess it really takes passion and the joy of doing something that you enjoy that can bring you thus far. Guitar will always be a part of me. i really enjoyed the times we spend training it was never dull cos of u guys. u guys rock.

so now i guess it's over and it's back to mugging guys.

Feb updates

sorry bout the lack of updates. been very busy with guitar and school work with bt . 4 down 1 more to go. i dunno how i'll do but just hope for the best and my hark work will be rewarded. i feel as in i'm not giving my best and could put in more effort. i guess i'm still surviving but pls give the strength to go on. fighting.=) it was nice having a guitar outing after the econs paper cos it was very relaxing just sitting there and talk. no stress having fun and enjoy. i went to NUS open house yesterday. i really dunno what i wanna do. i'm like a headless chicken. i have no clear direction and goal to work towards. are my goals unattainable? am i just living in my own dream world? Uni would be very diff from JC. i'm kinda looking forward to it. the next phase of my life.

i guess the highlight of feb would b the new J1 and guitar camp. the J1 are officially NERDS man. they're like spam everywhere. canteen toilets library. During their breaks they go library and mug. scary. they hog my benches and the library so irritating. the canteen is always so crowded because of them. they turn up for lectures like 10 mins earlier and disturb our chem lecture la.

Guitar camp was like super intensive pract for SYF. It's like only 1 month to SYF and ppl are still absent with valid reason. always like half the ensemble is not there. we haven't even started on the other piece. GG. but the piece that we're doing sounds very nice. i was games IC for the camp. i guess the planning for the orientation and the camp was the worst. cos there's a lot of wat if to think about and in case of changes. i guess everything went quite well as in even though they were like major changes but i guess everyone still enjoyed had fun and a good time of bonding. the best part was still the chicken captain ball. it was just hilarious and we tried to scare them by saying we're chicken rice for dinner that night. haha lolx. most people were like grossed out by it la. chicken flying towards u. then the water bomb marshmallows and flour games. everybody had fun and was dirty. haha lolx. the murder mystery. they were really quite interested and i saw a few of them questioning the suspects and thinking very hard at the end to solve the mystery. the guiat got talent on the last day was quite nice too. All the groups put up quite a good and entertaining show for us. but 1 thing was that i didn't spend much time with my group. it's super shag trying to run and organize a camp man. i was like totally burned out by the time the debrief and while the seniors were doing the soveniors. i was like falling asleep on the benches. the sovenoir is like a chain with a guitar pick like a pendant like that. even though it looks so simple but it's not easy to do cos we have to heat the needle to poke the hole through the pick for it to go through the chain. it took quite some time to make the hole

today went to annbelle's house to bai nian. it was fun to meet up with them after like quite some time. we were just like sitting down there talking and eating. then we went to play the piano trying to teach yw to play so it was like all from the beginners book. then we were like so amused with the percussion stuff like triangle. haha lolx then after tat we were like busy playing tap tap on anna's iphone super fun. haha lolx i get hysterical when it's like so fast. like so hard to coordinate. haha lolx after tat we went like doing ballet moves la haha lolx super siao la. yay fri we got the 2nd syf piece not bad la at least i can play. and it's like the other 1 finish learning already ma new thing to learn more fun.

CNY

CNY wasn't as bad as i thought it would be la. it was ok. the 1st day quite boring just went over to ah ma house to bai nian and eat steam boat like everyyear the same 1 lor. then slowly one by one everybody left until we were the only ones there and in the end we also went home. then after some of my parents friends came to visit us. basically like talking session. haha lolx.then the 2nd day my aunties didn't come until after lunch and lunch was steamboat again. but it's nice la. everybody just cook wat they wanna eat. my cousins came and we were like bored cos got nothing much to do ma. so we just played manjong with no money involved. just to kill time and to stimulate the brain onli. fun la. then the adults were like gambling la. they were playing blackjack then they were betting 1 dollar like very big la. too much 4 the kids liao. it's like super boring la no strategy onli just purely luck so we just played one whole round of manjong 16 rounds not bad and then it was time for dinner. i'm deprived i didn't get to eat my bak kua. haha lolx. luckily kit brought for us then managed to taste and smell bak kua. thanks so much Kit. haiz but reality check back to school after the long weekend break man. i dun like the feeling of not understanding what the teacher is teaching during lectures and the feeling of so much work piling up on u so better catch up with my tutorials. next week the J1 r coming so exciting. haha lolx the 2 years in JC really pass very fast. so treasure the memories and the time u have left.

if u're wondering how the title came about look at the photos and u'll understand. today after service went to tm wif serene and Bjorn. went to watch inkheart. quite cool la. it's the kind of show that i like fantasy. like whatever he reads comes to life so he's called a silver tongue.y not gold. gold more valuable. after service it was like so hot so we like cabbed there la. like all of us were like sweating like mad. cos actually we wanted to eat ashton but it wasn't open so we decided to go tm cos both serene and I wanted to watch tat show. so while waiting for ashton to open we went to parkway to print photos those instant kind. yupp so after all that walking we were all sweating like pigs. the cab was so much cooler in comfort man. haha lolx he pay if not we also won't cab there. haha lolx we went to get tickets and had lunch at pasta mania. i tried some tomato base wif bacon and mushroom not bad something diff not the usual cream base la. then we went to the take photos at the foutain and the playground. haha lolx the playground was fun la. the spinning thing and the slide. i miss the swings man. deprived childhood. i still remember the old telok kuara park so fun la. the swings were good. then after tat went shopping. long time never go tm liao. got quite a lot of new and interesting shops. finally bought a really pretty top that i like from FOX and it was on discount. haha lolx so happy but sounds a bit aunty la. but i'm sure all of us wants the best price right.

cny

haha lolx just finished my reunion steamboat dinner nice. must enjoy and chill and relax during CNY cos after that is work work work and more work so must be mentally prepared. cny performance was ok la played a few notes wrong got lost a bit and it was too fast but it was ok i guess. at least it sounded melodious. i love dance. the dancers were dope man. everything went ok la. but i would much rather b less stress and just enjoy the concert and join in the bai nian competition. i want to go visiting man. cny this year i guess will b as usual but i think will be quite boring la. like no mood nothing much to do kinda thing. just eat. i'm like falling sick my voice very hoarse before i even eat anything la. wat the crap. dun care. eat then drink water lor. i think gathering with friends more fun leh. met up wif piggies at tm pizza hut after bio lecture after cny celebrations la. like crap la totally no mood man and i dun understand half the thing that she's teaching like so fast and like chimology. we just sat there like from 2- 5.30 like tat and just talk. great time of catching up. haiz i dunno how cny will b this year cos my aunty suspected dengue warded in hospital then another 1 is in thailand. for my dad's side like 2 of my aunty not coming over. so there'll be a lot less ppl. haiz

life goes on...

it's now the 2nd week of school so fast right. cny coming yay.angbaos but i dun like family gatherings. guitar is preforming for the CNY concert but 1 thing i dun like about performing arts the late rehearsals timing and u go home feeling so drained and end up achieving nothing. haha lolx i know year 2 is going to be a really challenging year. must be mentally prepared la.like the teachers are like got so much more to cover and in so little time. more test and exams. the scheme of work is really quite scary. the teachers are really serious. no play play. come into class stright away take out tutorial. no time to lose i dunno wat the future holds but i guess i just have to leave it in his hands and pray that God will give me wisdom and the strength to guide me through this period. i remembered feeling quite inspired by all the quotes la on the 1st day of school then in the end after the MSA results came out i was totally discouraged. now all my hopes are on Chem. but bio was the most stun dio one, the paper totally like huh ? maths also la. the thing i dun like about maths is so tedious so many steps then 1 step in your working wrong your answers wrong so irritating la.

there has been some changes in school this year the worst part is the timetable. my timetable has an odd and even week. like have to stay in school until like 5.30p.m. like i wanna go home la pls. so dead already still ask me to study. i think we are very blessed, all our teachers this year not bad la. all can teach quite well. mrs tan is much nicer this year and super funny with her blog and her baby photos. mr nah is still him loud as usual enthu and passionate. ms su is good she explains things well like the chiral carbon thingy i was like crystal clear man. she's going to focus on organic chem man. my favourite man. i'm like inspired by her to do well 4 Chem man. if i don't do well . i'm like letting her down. ms ong is she talks a bit slow a bit blur at times,but at least she explains wat she's doing la.she's nice and she pleasant looking. she like going fashion show everyday la always wear until so nice and her shoes are like wow. ms yeo is nice la not bad so far haven't done any tutorial with her yet. but i think J2 the bio topics more interesting. the lab sessions is quite cool like micropipette and extracting DNA. she's quite cute she sent us the email to motivate us so sweet of her la. i hope i'll b able to be more motivated to work harder this year. make use of my time to study and to have discipline to study hard and resist temptations. be focused. maintain a positive attitude towards learning and to persevere on even though it may be hard. fighting

reflections

2008 has indeed been an eventful year for me. the people that i met all have made a difference in my life and i thank them. schhol has been quite meaningful i thank god 4 putting me in SA. i still remember the days of orientation. i was quite lost cos i didn't know anybody there. had to go throught the process of making friends again like u removed from your comfort zone then have to mix with people that u're totally unfamiliar with. i'm glad that i have found friends with simliar interest. i thank God for the poeple he brought into my life. haha lolx shu ying's classic blurness and laggyness and randomness and ( feng) really brought a lot of laughter into out lives. kit's seriousness and her guai self. mrs tan favourite student. not forgetting the class service learning and the trip to the national museum learnt loads about the greek culture. not forgetting too the many concerts that i attended all enriched me in one way or another.

with regard to school life i'm just glad that i'm promoted yay. i survived 1 year of JC. i guess the highlights of the year are my trips. most memorable unforgettable. the experience was really wonderful. wat was quite painful was also PW. the sleepless night fighting the sleeping bug the stress and deadlines. i'm just glad it's all over. studies was as usual. paying attention in lectures which was really quite hard cos it's a much bigger group and very easy get restless. i guess i come to love chem even more dun like maths even more. ok with bio n econs. i kinda like cons
something diff from sci. but molecular bio is still like. bleh. taking test and exams.

with regards to CCA i guess i love my CCA man. woohoo guitar rocks. haha lolx i'm glad i had my own freedom to choose my own cca and my passion for music too. i always wanted to learn the
guitar even though i'm not very pro but still i enjoy making music. even though like the guitar concert was tiring but we had fun and it was a good time of bonding too man. the farewell too was quite hasty but in the end it still turned out ok. the jazz concert let me see any side of the guys. haha lolx

AHS CO concert

yay it's going to b 2009 soon.it's a new begining and l'm not really looking forward to the new school term cos all the stress. but i guess jus have to take the challenges as they come and there're so many ppl wif me man so jia you man ppl fighting

yesterday went Bugis street with Serene. I bought my new year clothing. yay man very happy very tempted by the stuff there. retail therapy man. but not nice when u see so many things that u want but got not enough money. haha lolx must control.money do not grow on trees.

today had my daily dose of chocolate. haha lolx very blissful. went to watch bedtime stories. it was very funny. quite diff how virtual and reality would turn out diff from virtual haha lolx. walked around AMK aimlessly. after tat went to AHS CO concert. it was ok la. jess and I were like noticing the pianist instead of like the erhu solo can. he play like super emo can his back view very nice. haha lolx. jess was like she saw him outside after the concert then she siao liao. haha lolx then after tat she was like comparing height wif ppl. she's like 1.8m then the random guy was like when i'm 17 i'll b this tall oso haha lox. jess is well blessed. i'm like vertically challenged. haha lolx but it may b a good thing after all at least i looks young. after that we all had a fetish for starbucks cos yw was deprived for 2 weeks. haha lolx sudden craving. so went to the starbucks at Raffles City from tanjong pagar. i had mocha frapp nice i love caffeine. haha lolx it was nice meeting up wif them again like the old times. haha lolx i feel so old

Christmas

piggy outing
haha lolx super fun. we stayed over at pris house. we played manjong, bridge and hearts. watched movie night at the museum and for the horror movie i totally fell asleep cos i was like sorta drunk. haha lolx luckily i wasnt sprouting nosense. it was just like warm then my heart was like beating very fast. then i had a bad headache. i realize there's a craze bout the little nonya la. learnt more bout the culture oso quite interesting but the people are like super evil can.

i think i need to work on the virtue of patience can. i'm quite impatient need to train but i think much better already. last time would b even worst la. like now i have to tell myself being impatient can't make things happen faster or make the person come faster just like u can't change the things that happen to u, but u can change your attitude towards them. like u can't change the winds but u can change your sail. so hope that i'll change for the better

christmas carolling

haha lolx carolling was fun man. carols always make me so hi and chocolates too. the carols r like so upbeat and joyful. spreading the good news of Jesus Christ meaning God saves. hope that the people that were present actually think a bit deeper bout what is christmas to them? hope that they'll find out more bout the CHRIST of christmas. and not just giving and feasting and receiving presents. haha lolx i realize that there are a lot of chocaholic. haha lolx i can't imagine life without chocolate. quite sad huh. i practically live on chocolates. it's my comfort food. haha lolx. i love the feeling of it melting in your mouth man. it's just heavenly. indescribable joy. the sweet feeling that lingers. the last house we took group photos took until like super long la can got flash no flash then want the yellow light cos got atmosphere. haha lolx i smile until veri tired. then like we all didn't want to leave just keep singing. veri fun. then on the bus ride back we were like singing random songs totally no link 1 super hi. haha lolx . it was super funny. cos Anand doesn't know Chi then we were like singing Chi songs so he was like WWJD haha lolx poor thing

CCIS

today went to PS to do CCIS. went to distribute handbooks at the Istana there. so many ppl daoed me can. cos like most of the people had already. cos they came from the traffic light and there were ppl giving out there too. didn't get any chance to share cos of the nature of that place. everyone was like just walking towards PS n in a hurry and more adults la. went to take pics at the christmas village and watch the performance. the choir and the dance was good. quite melodious. the songs were all familiar songs. i love christmas carols man. very nice. haha lolx. yay man looking forward to carolling tmr

JSS christmas party

the children were so cute can. haha lolx children will always be children. so noisy. energertic, lively and innocent. i miss those days when i was in pri school. . haha lolx the games may seem easy but i think the kids realli enjoyed themselves. haha lolx i think they found it quite hard to skip together. they were having quite a bit of trouble. then the life buoy game supposed to throw a balloon attached to a raffia string to save your team mates. i think once they got the hang of it. it was quite easy. some of the mask that they made was quite pretty but some never bothered to put in effort onli just like dooddling on it. the video were good too. quite easy to understand.

after that went to my aunty house to celebrate christmas and my cousin's birthday. the food was good. the log cake was super yummy. got hazelnut taste i like. i'm going to get fat this christmas season man. eat so much die better exercise more haha lolx. but i'm too lazy man mayb bring my dog out for walks more often. haha lolx go out shopping more often standing than burn calories.

CCIS

i guess it was ok quite tiring. it was not as bad as i though tit would be. orchard road is really the happening place to be in man. like so many things going on there. so many ppl very crowded. so at first we were like super enthu then like spotting potential target to share to. quite hard to find teenagers willing to listen to us.but at least we managed to share to a few. it rained oso la so we were like taking shelter at taka then it became boring so we walked from taka back to wisma and back to taka when the rain stopped. so like during dinner we decided like maybe we should just give out the handbooks better then nothing. so like we manged to do 50 between the 2 of us lor. keeping kana daoed by ppl can. then like some already gotten it from ppl in front lor so sad.

i watched twilight yesterday with the gang man. haha lolx so long never c them liao. i guess the movie was ok la. but a bit boring. like no climax one kind dun feel anything. i like the softball game man. i think the vampires look quite scary lor like white white one than with their super red lipstick. very freaking. but the handsome perosn is not Edward Cullens it's his Bro a bit stone 1 lor.it's just like Bella running away from that bad vampire that wants to hunt her down and Edward is like her guardian angel. haha lolx there was 1 part quite funny like when he stare at her during Bio lessons. then Bella commented that he doesn't say Hi to her then he like immediately responded wif a Hi. i guess i'm not a sucker for those kinda of sappy romance kinda story. i lprefer those action kind. keeps me in suspense. more explosions and like escaping. i like

pharmacy camp

went for pharmacy camp to replace MW. it was not bad la. the games was very fun. the mystery is like super detailed can he even thought os the dates and showed the importance of good acting skills. the station games was also quite fun la. the lab is super cool la. the water bath u dun have to boil the water. it's just like a stove u just put the thing there. i like cough syrup. it always taste so sweet. we mixed cough syrup and we also made carbon pills and baby lotion. we made something to stick up your rectum oso. i hate packing medicine into capsules damn hard can. but not useful ma cos will have human error wat.i think if i'm a pharmacist, i think will kill people lor. i'm like super inaccurate in weighing la. damn boring la. everything must weight. if i'm roughly there can already. all these thing could just be left to the machines which have higher precision and accuracy. i think pharmacist quite all-rounders la but somehow i still feel that like they're still under the beck and call of doctors la. like they know loads bout medicine but in the end still have to help the doctor prescribe the correct medicine right. the talks was interesting. it was interesting to c a pharmacist at work. coolio. but it is another opening for me la. can consider

today went to tm with piggies. jess wanted to buy new hp. i'm seriously in need of a new phone anybody wants to donate to NSF(needy Sheryl fund) we had lunch at pizza hut. we watched bolt. i learnt a few things from the show must remain loyal to your friends especially in time of needs. home is where u belong. it was very nice worth watching man. haha lox then in toys rus we were trying to make like cookie monster and big bird sing christmas carols. super funny. haha lolx.deprived childhood man.
