guitar farewell and teachers' day celebrations

thurs was guitar farewell then i went to guitar room and gen was like super freaking out because it was seriously screwed people didn't know about it they say never confirm and some got maths remedial then like people were sick so the people who played was like super pathetic like only 10 people can then altos were like pratising while they rest of us were ok so we were like super bored and were slacking around... after that they showed the video which i missed cos i was busy setting up the dinner table... the food was very nice and the games were played for a very short while like jus to entertain them while waiting... so then it was like speeches by the 2 pres and Mr chan.. Mr Chan was like giving the history of the club how it was founded...Yi Qi said something quite meaningful dun do things with no reason like u dunno what u doing it for? everything that u do must be for a reason...then after that it was the signing of the first club guitar that we bought...then we sang for the senior save tonight super funny the ohhh part... then we gave them their sovenuirs.. Matthew's one was like super cute la his hair and his puppy cute eyes haha lolx... then we cleared up there was quite a lot of food left and i wanted to take the cheese cake but i was like carrying campbell la super heavy... Bao Xi was saying it should be used as a dumbell... so ironic... then we went back to AVA and took like super a lot of photos all diff poses... we wanted to conspire to mess up Matthew's hair but we didn't dare cos we heard that he would get angry...teachers' day celebration was quite fun... we had the aces day workout 1st like the person who taught was super funny like what step the coaroach... but the dancer make it look very nice cos they always like overexaggerate then they use their shoulders and have energy...the concert was good i think the best part was the council dance and the teachers' award... i didn't know that they would use a superhero to represent the characteristics... haha lolx... got mrs incredible, tinkerbell, L, Joker and Mr Willy Wonka and Mr and Mrs Smith, little red riding hood and professor dumbledore and Mcgonagall... i dun like the jamming the bass was too loud the girl was too high when it reached the chorus my ear pain.. then Yvonne went crazy over her mountain la like duh... the house council imitating the teachers was good.. then the group from 4/4 was quite funny...i was like rushing out my presents... then after that went back to ah like 31 was about 1 hour la... then by the time i went back all the teachers were gone and it was more like a reunion lor ... i miss ah toilet so clean and no smell haha lolx but i know at least SA toilet not too bad then went tm wif jess to eat pasta mania yummy

service learning day

tues was our class service learning day. our school specially set aside a day for us to do cip. not bad right. we went to an old folks' home called missionaries of charity. i was like the first one there la only mrs tan was there and ended up talking to her and found out that she is really quite nice if u talk to her alone...i was cleaning the windows it was fun but tiring... there was a sense of satisfaction when i saw the windows sparkling clean... haha lolx... after the job was done, we were supposed to interact with the old folk but i was quite scared of them cos they were like quite weird then while we were working they were just like staring at us...but still i tried to talk to some of them.. we sang songs and play pass the parcel with them... there was this very cute old lady who sang twinkle twinkle little star then after that she would say oleh oleh very cute... haha lolx.. then she groped kit's butt then ask her who she was but she sayanged shu ying's face and called a devil... hmmm i really don't understand... then i talked to this old lady then i couldn't really understand cos i'm not really very fluent in hokkien so i was like pretending and nodded at times... there was another old lady with dementia and she brought si yi to her bed like four times... then there was another old lady 91 years old but was still very alert and she knew quite a lot of languages and could communicate with us quite well... at about 11a.m it was time for lunch and i fed the old lady that i talked to she was like quite poor thing cos she was eating porridge and she find it very bland then the person was like keep forcing her to eat but she enjoyed the durian and like flies landed on the durian but the people there didn't bother and didn't let us change don't want us to waste food... then after that the old people went to sleep...i think i wouldn't want to live a life where i forget everything in my life even my loved ones that would be quite sad and would be a burden to them so i also don't want to live too long quite sad then my skin become so wrinkled... it may not be a bad thing to stay in an old folks' home cos u get the proper medical attention u require and also u get to meet people your age better than being pushed around by your children and feeling unwanted right...after that we had class lunch at pizza hut yummy

olympics

awww so sad olympics is over after almost 2 weeks... haha lolx i was like watching the volleyball gold medal match USA vs Brazil when i should be studying Chem... Brazil tried so hard they played well and their spike was like killer la like over 100km/hr.. like siao liao... the person who kena hit like concuss a bit lor... then i oso watched swimming i love swimming super cool... but swimming finals r in the morning so i miss most of the breaking world record action by Michael Phelps sad cos like olympics onli like once in 4 years... then i was watching gymnaetics oso super graceful very nice... then i also watched the table tennis super sad la Jia Wei lost to Guo Yue.. she's not bad la but i think when she plays with Zhang Yining more exciting... then super sad also la the group lost to china... then table tennis is like China sweep clean all the medals la... 1st 2nd and 3rd all from China... then i was watching the badminton finals oso quite exciting lin dan is pro la serious and i realize that badminton is not slack too is u really play well they really jump smack n smash la super tiring cos it's whole body... then i watched like beach volleyball and handball too quite interesting... last week was my Chem SPA the whole thing was super amusing.. luckily skill B performing is not tested man... cos like i was able to light the matchstick i dun understand y they make us use matchstick when we have lighters irritating... but the thing is i can't light the wick... i was like super iritated and down there when the lab was super quiet then i was like sighing super loudly waste my time la... even the teacher had to come and help me and i used like 4 wicks and like a whole box of matchstick jus cos i washed the wick with water... like u give me the bottle with the liquid inside which totally stinks man then supposed to fill it with another liquid obviously i would wash it first right who would have thought that jus cos of a little bit of water then can't light up.. totally not looking forward to service learning tme cos we're working with old folk and i have to be a washerwomen like i would so much rather work with cute little innocent children...

post national day

today pe was quite fun we tried a new game.. it is a no contact game can't intercept your opponent... then you throw the ball on the trampoline then it will bounce off then your opponent supposed to catch for them to score... if u hit anywhere else or miss,the point goes to your opponent it was quite fun... haha lolx... mrs tan is super funny she can be a vampire that sucks blood or a snake that bites then she say she wanna be a cute snake i was like diaoed... then i was not looking at her cos i turned my head then she complained say i never look at her then say wat she specially wear red so that will attract attention then kit said that it was exactly what she wore on national day then she ask what colour she should wear to attract my attention she super funny la can... then on wed guitar pract super funny cos yan yue was doing the video for the farewell then mr wan wanted it to be like the American presidential elections so he was like talking then the 1st take he was like talking rubbish la then he make it like so formal he acually tucked in his shirt then the 2nd try we didn't come in together but we recovered and did it again... haha lolx... then he was like telling them to clear their bowels 1st before a preformance... he say we played like malay dance and then he actually danced some malay dance for us super fuuny la he then we ask him to do video he say he switch off funny mode is go home clear bowels mood.. haha lolx... recap a few days back... national day had lunch and went to watch money no enough with my family... then mon had piano and then went out with kit to get shuying's present we bought a sleepy eeyore cup for her super cute...buy stuff for our mortals i got strawberry biscuits which look super pretty and it's quite worth it too and also to buy her sport shoes which is like grey and pink quite nice... and we went bugis to take neo prints super exp la but very pretty la... very long time never take then had loads of fun thinking of the pose sand also decorating the thing... then fri after celebrations went to sakae to eat buffet with piggies so fun and had a good laugh so long never see them liao... then we like over ordered had so much food left that we had to play zhong ji mi ma to clear off the food and we even tried asking people whether they wanted... but it was nice long time never eat jap food...

National Day celebrations

this week have been a very hectic week for me cos i have like 3 test in a week almost everyday have test can... mon econs... tues chem... wed bio... then today have to hand in wr so my group was like discussing on wed and thurs night online... then i was busy doing all the graphs... at first i got very irritated using excel cos recently my com got reformatted and my bro reinstalled the 2007 microsoft office then it's like super advance can i dunno how to use... i guess i'm more used to the old version... so today our school celebrated national day... the main highlight of the day was the costume designing competition competition and then after that the models had to showcase the costume by walking down a red carpet... our model was Amirah and she did a great job... she was like the most confident and had great stage prescence...well done Amirah... However i think that the costume was too cluttered like too many things... i like the shiny stuff but i thought that the gold ribbon and the shoe laces that they tied around her hand and the fan that they stick on her back was a bit useless... then s21 their costume was very funny... there was this guy wearing two durian and then he was wearing this wig which symbolises Singapore forward lookingness... then s09 got these girl wearing the costume and then got 2 guys escoting her then it was like moutain and Naz if not wrong so Yvonne was like moutain so handsome flexed his muscles... then s08 model was like this very gay guy carring an umbrella... then there was this class their theme was like superhero they carried the guy wearing the costume out la pls...then there was also this superhero modelo then he was like the hero saving the damsel in distress then his description about the costume also very funnny wat i'm the singapore man or something like that i can't exactly remember...then s12 was like put paper balls to symbolise Singapore being environmentally friendly... then we were like super spastics la and super paiseh la ... cos keith was preforming then we were like his fans like that la down there screaming and cheering him on when everyone else was like just busy making their costume...i love national day cos u get to sing all the national day songs which i love jus to name a few like home, together we make a difference, where i belong, we'll get there... super nice la then get all high and patriotic

open house

today is SAJC open house and also Alfred's brithday... happy birthday alfreddie!!! the theme is the mark of a saint... there was quite a lot of people...went to school at 8a.m la super early to pratice before our performance at 10a.m.. haha lolx reached school about 8.10 and went to the guitar room and there was a group of people waiting for me liao lor... i felt so bad for making them wait sorry people QM was late... i guess that what they mean with great power comes great responsibility cos i was holding the key to the guitar room... i was playing the bass for some Jap song thanks to keith... bass is quite easy cos all steady beat cos the lower instrument keep the rhythm ma and i have keith to follow cos same timing ma and he's good...then mr Wan put the basses in the centre la then if i play wrong everyone can see so embaressing la... not bad i took some time to master it but managed to get it la not prefect but i'm satisfied personal best i think it's really different playing alone and in an ensemble like i pratice i can get it then like when playing together then i will get lost cos of the stupid scores la... so weird 1 mus flip like in the middle... i still prefer the alto cos it's small and light and much more fun cos like usually it's playing the melody then got more running notes more things to do la... the bass was like super heavy can... i carry until my hand wanna break liao lor... and also like don't really get the attention as in during pratice them mr Wan will always concentrate on the alto 1 then while the prime and others like basses are like stoning there super sianz la... we played the song like 3 times la... cos we preformed at 10a.m then there was nobody then like a group of students from Gan Eng Seng sec came then we preformed for them before that it was jus like some friends of guitarist... i must say that the students were quite well behaved they clapped politely and i saw them in the band performance again and they were just quietly sitting in the cc... i just love the band it always sound so nice and rich and majestic and it has such a wide range of sounds... and i had pattaya rice with a lot of sauce yummy yum yum and elphin's 1 was like swimming in the special sauce for chicken and petch's 1 was like swimming in chilli... haha lolx i guess i'm not the only 1 who loves sauces... sauces make food nice... i can't imagine food without sauces it would taste so bland...

feeling awful cos i'm sick

i hate being sick... seriously it suxs... i was like coughing and heaving until my lungs pain... then blowing my nose until it's sore la... haha lolx quite and interesting comment that DP made that day during assembly... that during hair check there's quite an interesting sight you'll see all the guys trying to elongate their necks like giraffe so that their hair will not touch their collar... haha lolx can u imagine all of them stretching their necks trying so hard... must be quite funny haha lolx... i think that mrs Tan is weird she wants to pick students up by their tails and hang them upside down and whip them.. she's a bit sadistic... sometimes she's nice sometimes she's like so fierce and being mean to our class... Last week was quite slack cos on Thurs for the 2 hr GP period we went to library and mrs Tan showed us this film about 2 journalist uncovering the truth about how some president used some underhand means to break into the opposition party's office to find out how their methods or campaigning... it was mostly about the function of the mass media and how it is suppose to inform the people about the truth but sometimes it may not the total truth and trying to cover up and not beign objective but what the reader wants... then assembly they also showed us this video about how a group of students in a small town embarked on this project to collect 6m paperclips to commerate the 6m jew who were killed during the holocaust... it was quite amazing how a group of students could make such a big difference... they sent letters to people to send them paperclips and sometimes with each paper clip came a story of the people who died...it was quite touching...it reminds me about pw just that took it to such a real level that they actually implemented it...

new haunt

Recently we have been quite sick of the school food and so we went to the coffee shop near the school and found out that it was quite nice... i had ban mian... i guess that's what i always eat... i like it,it's nice and not too unhealthy not fried and no rice... the soup is tasty too but i guess the ban mian at parkway is still the nicest... then today me and kit went out and we had western food... i had some fish and it was quite tasty and soft no fishy smell... then kit saw her EC cos she haven't saw him like for a week so she was quite excited... i realise that everytime she's with me she'll see him... i let her have the affinity to see him.. the last time we were walking to the bus stop then we also saw him and his friends then he was like doing the limbo rock and skipping super funny... then it was raining then she say she saw him then i was very excited cos i haven't seen him before so i was like screaming where where then i ran out from under the umbrella... talking about smells.. on the way to the mrt from school there's this wet market... i totally can't stand the smell of it... all those raw meat and the dried good smell mixed together... makes me wanna vomit... and Shu Ying brought this very nice smelling pomegranate deodorant so we sprayed it after pe... had a very interesting ME lesson this week... Mrs Tan showed us this video about love and BGR then after that we had an activity to list the characteristics that we want in our future boyfriend quite fun... we drew a very cute man and we filled him up with all these adjectives... very funny... haha lolx...

commendation

Fri was commendation ceremony at Saint Andrew's cathedral.. it was quite serious and solemn but was quite boring... something that kit mentioned was that they sweared to serve the school with the help of God but what if some of them don't even believe in God they only saying in on their lip paying lip service not meaning it in their heart aren't they misusing the name of God... the place was nice but i think all these things is like just tradition... we ended school at 9a.am jus had assembly la... like so stupid total waste of time y can't we just meet there instead... it was like the councillors were trying to be loud but they sort of like screamed in the place which was like not suitable like disrupting the peace of the cathedral... then me and kit went to pasta mania at suntec city to eat lunch and i had my creamy chicken yummy... then the funny thing was that it was such a coincidence that both of our brothers were being interrogated about their gf... it is quite funny to see how mothers are their future daughter-in-law haha lolx... Some updates about guitar i got into ex-co i'm the quarter master in charge of the guitar room totally unexpected i didn't even ask for that role and some other people's position also quite unexpected... the interview was quite scary there was like a panel of judges then they started to ask u qns like i was like quite ok la but i was just crapping my way through but quite happy that i got into exco cos i really love my guitar and guitar ensemble too

cosmetic surgery

recently been watching the channel u 10 p.m. local production prefect cut... i think there was quite an interesting quote it goes something like this cosmetic surgery can also be a form of psychiatric treatment.. for example if the person has low self esteem because of her or her appearance then counselling may not be able to help but if the person goes for plastic surgery and regain his or her confidence it may not be a bad thing as it will help the person... i think beauty is only temporary and will not last we can't stay young forever and aging is a natural process i see no need to go inject botox...if it's for health reasons then u go for botox there are other ways to slim down like exercising and eating healthily it's all about balance... i think that we should be happy with God gave us we are all unique..it's so scary if like everyone is prefect then we all look like clones of each other... men is trying to interfere with nature like with genetic engineering and plastic surgery... but sometimes if a person is disfigured because of a scar and need plastic surgery i think that is acceptable as you're not really changing your looks but trying to look the same as before so i think it'll help la... there's quite an interesting argument in life! these days bout Singaporean wearing too casually... i think that it all depends on the situation if u are going somewhere nearby like heartland malls i think it's ok as it's stupid to spend time dressing up and u want to feel comfortable but i guess if you're like going to Orchard road or to watch a performance i feel that it's basic respect to dress up and look polished and presentable and decent...

college day

lessons officially started and it's back to the mundane boring life again but 1 good thing can have guitar pratice again haha lolx... today GP lesson was quite fun we got chased out of the classroom and changed classroom so many times until we ended up at my clique's favourite place the benches... haha lolx like so weird the feeling is not right.. usually we go there during break then now we're like going there during lesson time and is like so open any1 can see us not in the privacy of the classroom... for the lesson we were moving around and sharing our ideas on the different Qns of the GP paper 1... it definitely beat having to listen to Mrs tan drone on for 2 hrs...so back to college day... college day was not bad it was just bustling with activity... i spent my money on a float and sushi an ice pop and a milo dinosaur... we even had a picture taken with chicken little... we wanted to go haunted house to scare ourselves but it was like the queue was so long and we ran out of coupons... haha lolx i guess 08S08 earned a lot of money...i guess the high light of the day was the dunking machine and the saints' idol... Anthony Lee won kind of expected it cos he's like well known after the i like Anthony lee because he's cute and they even made a poem for him... and cos Mrs Tan asked me to give out the sticks for voting i had an extra 1 and voted for 3 ppl instead of 2... haha lolx... the contestants sang quite well la... i think the dunking machine was amusing... We saw Mr Yeo getting dunked too... he was like so confident... people was like trying to shoot but missed cos it's not easy then he was like send a better player la...then it was someone threw a football and hit the target and he got dunked haha lolx...then he immediately got out... then the house council also dunked Anthony Lee and someone shoot the target with those rubber colourful balls which is so light unbelievable... then he couldn't climb out of the pool and had to rely on a string quite embarrassing...

new haircut

haha lolx my title says it all... had a haircut at my regular place lucky plaza...wanted a new look... this hair cut looks a bit diff from the others as i wanted an asymmetrical bob it didn't turn out as expected but it's still acceptable i guess.. u b the judge... but i kinda like short hair cos it so much easier to maintain haha lolx... i realise a lot of artiste are also cutting short hair like Hebe and Angela Zhang and Jessica Liu... got my inspiration from them... i didn't want to cut before that cos i dunno what to cut so i let it grow but my fringe was like irritating me so i decided to cut...some ppl say i look older more mature with long hair but it's the same to me as i'm still me nothing changed... haiz got back my chem paper on tues if i'm not wrong... the result was horrible not up to my expectation as chem is like one of my better subject... but i knew i wouldn't do very well cos it was like so many states of matter and chemical kinematics qn... the 2 topics that i don't like and taught by the old and boring teacher which makes it worse... made a few careless mistakes here and there and i got my units mixed up... and for section A and B me being very smart forgot to take the calculator which i had borrowed from kit and had to look around to ask nice teachers whether could borrow from people... so i was kinda glad when Mrs Tan walked to the back and i immediately raised my hand and wanted to borrow from people but she say cannot so she accompanied me to take from my bag and as my calculator was a GC ,she being a stick in the mud for rules was like must clear then i also forgot how cos it was Xinyi that helped me clear then she panicked and ask other teachers but also dunno how so had to ask the chem HOD then she said it was ok lor so wasted precious time there and ended up not finishing that section... Before the paper, kit was like i give up on chem energetics, i predicted maybe if a whole qn was on it, then she would die quite badly cos it's like 20 marks... then i was right lor like the 1st structured qn was totally on that... i was quite proud of myself lor cos i onli studies born haber cycle the day before and totally didn't get it when ms Tan was going through tutorial and i managed to get most of it right lor and managed to get some marks,so not bad quite happy...

randomness

hihi man i m bored currently in the library of SAJC... with nothing to do cos we have a two hours break before lecture start at 10a.m...dunno y they make us come to school so early for what... i want my beauty sleep...hmmm wondered who planned the timetable man... so rubbish but i know it's not easy la but give us so much free time so many breaks... yesterday we were eating during all the break can... will get fat one especially after the U.S.A trip la with all the fries and the burgers... i really miss the ban mian at parkway... haha lolx and i have a random craving for pasta man i wanna eat creamy pasta and chocolate...k then now shall blog more about get smart man it's a nice movie, funny and entertaining... after posting yesterday then i was reflecting on the movie the funny moments that i missed out... when Steve got chose to be a field agent he was sworn to this oath of secrecy so he was supposedly in this soundproof room but it was not then he screamed that this was the happiest day of his life cos he trained very hard to lose weight to become a field agent as he was struck in the office as a strategist for a long time...he wanted to parachute down from an airplane but forgot his parachute and agent 99 ( Anne) had to save him and the big mean evil looking guy came after them to save them she kissed the evil, big guy...he also had this dance competetion with agent 99 and he chose someone who is fat to be hhis dance partner while like agent 99 ( Anne) is like so slender, slim and elegant so the effect was funny and the ending was him lifting the lady in the air taking quite a bit of strength...also in the airplane he was trying to free himself because he was handcuffed, he tried to shoot a knifeto free himself but ended up piercing himself everywhere u can imagine even his face and ear.. ouch pain...he wanted to shoot this tranquiliser at the enemy but ended up shooting himself...he's such a loser...

Movies and adverts

hihi just finished my exams man... quite relieved but dunno how i'll do... i guess just have to leave it to God.. .Some things are just out of our control...Recently watched loads of movie man...Get smart... Kungfu panda.... Narnia Prince caspian... Zohan...i guess watching movie with diff people really kinda give u diff experiences man... haha lolx i still remeber the outing with my pw group to vivo city tto finish up our wr... we were sitting at the open space at the top floor overlooking psa... Amirah said that the black man swinging was very lame and a waste of energy.. and the movie experience with them was good cos we were laughing even during the adverts... was super funny... Gatsby as usual came up with lame but still memorable adverts like Takuya Kimura was spraying himself with a can of at first i thought was hair wax but is dunno what i forgot and down there trying to act cool...haha lolx ridiculous funny and memorable...then there was this Geox Advert this model walking on the runway took out her shoe and everyone fainted except a guy who wore a mask the effect was hilarious man... then the show itself was super funny the chopstick fight... the panda's expression when he wants food... i learnt a lesson to believe in yourself... cos nobody thought that the panda was the dragon warrior as he was so fat and not agile had no kungfu background but the dragon scroll was blank and he learnt to believe in himself... Zohan was quite a sick movie but was quite humourous and was quite a relaxing treat after a quite tense Bio paper... had sushi and cookie from subway...yum yum... get smart was quite stupid but lame at first when you see all the mistake that Steve Carell made (forgot what agent no. he was) but it was quite smart and had an unexpected twist.. worth watching... scenes that i have an impression was when he was looking for a car to drive in a rural area sorta like farm.. supposed to choose a car that'll attract least attention but he actually chose a ferrari... he kissing the rock was like sick but learnt from agent 99 ( Anne Hatheway).. the big evil looking guy crying.. and the rat went inside his body when he was trying to cross infra- red beams in a room sorta like an obstacle course... There was this sorta of competition between him and agent 99 on the dance floor and as u know agent 99 is very slim and pretty and he had to go and choose someone who is plus-sized as his dance partner...the effect was hilarious
